good water here. Would Holcim or you be responsible for making our
water supply drinkable once they contaminated it? Who would be
responsible for the water wells?
How about the State Fish and Game? Have they looked into how it
would affect Hayden Creek? They put in new fish every year. Will you or
Holcim be responsible for all the dead fish? The water also goes into the
Arkansas. I# it affects the creek it will affect the Arkansas river. How about
all the wild turkeys, bighorn sheep, deer, elk, fox, bobcats, bears, lynx, and
the protected bald eagles? Would they be getting into their habitat?
Also what about all of our foundations? Would they crack because of the
strain of the blasting? Plus we all were here after they left. We've built our
homes here thinking we were safe. If the mine reopens that will bring the
real estate values down. Is that fair for one company to do so much harm.
We all add to the community, all they would be doing would be taking
away.
Most of the people live and work right here in their homes in Coaldale. All
of this would be ok if we all didn't live right smack in the middle of the
mining. If we all just left in the morning and came back in the evening it
might be so bad but we would all be breathing, listening to the blasts, our
houses shaking 24 hours six days a week.
Please reconsider this mine being reopened. Don't let the mine ruin this
beautiful sharing community. thank you.
steph brady
joe brady
skylar brady
boz brady
callie brady
Our mailing address is: Brady's PO.
