Base Products
lbny F. Appelhanz
62339 W. LaSalle Rd.
Montrose, CO 81401
970-249-3061
EXHIBIT H
WIWLIFE INFORMATION
Wildlife does not live and multiply in this area, but does occasionally pass through
because of farm land near this area. The absence of food, cover, and water does not meet their
requirements. I went to the Division of Wildlife and talked with Rick Sherman when I permitted
the original permit. He stated, unless there are extenuating circumstances such as threatened
or endangered species present or critical wildlife habitat being impacted, the Division of Wildlife
would not be commenting on my application. The area has not been changed In any way.
except the addition of a mine across the fence. My plan was to eventually use this ground and
put water on it, but this is not possible with the adjoining mine. I see no way to use this area
now, except to amend the gravel permit 1 have in operation and blend it In to the surroundings.
j It won't be and eye sore when complete and the value will be retained. The Division of Wildlife's
phone number is (970)249-3431.
