RECLAMATION COSTS <br />EXHIBIT L <br />The worst case reclamation scenario occurs at the end of the mine life. After mining in the final <br />area (South Pit Area 5) is complete, the entirety of the North Pit; and Soutlr Pit Slopes from Areas <br />1, 2 ,3and 4 will already be reclaimed. The northern portion of the Staging Area will be reclaimed <br />earlier in the pit life. The remaining area to be reclaimed at the end of the mine life will be 47.98 <br />acres of flat irrigated pasture and 1.04 acres of dry rangeland slope. The ditches will remair. for <br />the landowners use either to reduce erosion along the slopes or to provide irrigation water.
