The modification requests <br /> consisted of the addition of twenty-one exploration drill holes <br /> and approximately eleven miles of seismic lines . <br /> The Division identified the need for archaeological, wildlife and <br /> access clearances for the proposed work. The following attached <br /> materials are submitted to address these items . <br /> Attached are surface use agreements and notifications for all <br /> exploration work except for that of drill holes PDH-33 and PDH- <br /> 34 . Access agreements for these two locations are expected <br /> shortly. CLC requests that approval of these locations be held <br /> until further documentation is provided to the Division. <br /> Metcalf Archaeological Consultants Inc. from April 20th to April <br /> 24th, 1998 conducted archaeological surveys of all locations and <br /> access corridors . Attached are two reports, the first report is <br /> a review of eighteen federal locations, four seismic lines and <br /> associated accesses . The second report is a review of the <br /> findings of the three private drill locations . Cultural <br /> clearances are recommended for all locations . <br /> Powder River Eagle Studies Inc. (PRES) provided detailed wildlife <br /> surveys over the area of proposed exploration during the last two <br /> weeks of April . A review meeting was conducted on April 27 with <br /> BLM wildlife biologists, Mike Albee and Roxanne Salise, and CDOW <br /> wildlife manager, Jim Haskins . During this meeting wildlife <br /> protection measures were formulated and summarized in the <br /> attached April 28, 1998 correspondence from PRES . Correspondence <br /> from Mr. James Haskins of CDOW will follow under separate cover. <br />
