The following conditions must be
verified prior to entering data into LIMS
.
• Appropriate analytical methodology was used, based on th@ sample matrix
and analyte concentration
.
' • Instrumentation was functioning properly during sample analysis.
• Quality control sample checks were analyzed at the proper frequency and
quality control sample checks met performance criteria requirements.
• Analysis was completed within the method-specified holding time. If
holding times were exceeded, immediately inform the appropriate laboratory
section supervisor.
• All analytes were quantitated within the calibration range Qsamples were
diluted into calibration range, if necessary).
• Matrix interference problems were verified. Corrective action (reanalysis,
dilution, matrix modifiers, etc.f was taken to minimize or eliminate the
interference, where possible.
'
• Method specific analytical requirements were achieved (y-int@rcept values,
correlation coefficient values, surrogate recoveries, etc.}.

• Calculations, dilution factors, and detection limits have been verified.
If any of the requirements listed above for method-specified requirements)
were not met, do not enter this data into LIMS. Instead, immediately inform ~
' the appropriate laboratory section supervisor. The laborartory section
supervisor will then determine what corrective action is required
. i
' 14.2 LIMS Data Entry Requirements
