After cleaning, using the procedure as outlined in this protocol,
a final rinse of de-ionized, distilled water will be collected.
The analytical laboratory performing the analysis will supply the
de-ionized, distilled water which is to be used for rinse blanks.
The laboratory supplying the de-ionized, distilled water will
perform an analysis on each lot to demonstrate that the water is
' analyte free. Analysis of this rinse blank will be used to
evaluate the equipment cleaning procedure.

2.4 Record Keeaina
All field data will be recorded in the Field Data Collection
Sheets. These data will include: weather conditions, volume of
water removed from the well, static water depth prior to sampling,
total well depth, field water quality parameter data, well number
or location, the number of sample bottles to be obt$ined, the
sequence in which the samples were taken and the sampler's name.
A Field Data Collection Checklist will also be filled out for each
sample site to demonstrate that appropriate protocols were
followed. The Checklist form is shown in Appendix B.
A chain of custody will be implemented during sample collection,
which will be filed with the laboratory indicating the parameters
requested, as well as the collection date of the samplep.
Prior to off-site shipment, samples will be inspected as to whether
. they are tightly capped, and labeled properly. Sample Containers
will be placed into the shipping cooler, surrounded by packing
material and ice. Sufficient ice will be added to the cooler to

maintain a temperature of 4°C, or less, during transit tb the lab.
Shipping containers will be affixed with a security seal.

-20-
