Phase II-LII Summary No. 3 Page 2 043-2170 <br />Field Monitorine and Testine Activities <br />Golder observed construction activities associated with Phase II-III Extension earthworks. All <br />construction materials and soil materials placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods <br />were in accordance with project specifications. <br />Golder visually observed the placement of DCF in the Phase II-III Extension azea. Golder CQA <br />monitors (one monitor per dozer when dozers aze greater than 50 feet apart) observed DCF <br />placement and verified minimum thickness of 2 feet for finish grade, and 4 feet for haul traffic (i,e., <br />Caterpillar Mode1740 articulated trucks). <br />' Laboratory Tests <br />1 Golder obtained one QA sample of Drain Cover Fill (DCFx-QA-O1) associated with Phase II-III <br />extension construction for laboratory index testing to determine suitability of materials used. The <br />completed tests met the requirements of the specifications and the results aze presented in <br />Attachment B. <br />Meetines <br />CC&V held a Weekly Contractors' meetings on September 21 and 28, 2004.
