(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase II-III Extension <br />Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of <br />September S through September 11, 2004. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 35° F to 50° F, and highs ranged from 59° F to 79° F. Weather <br />observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVc <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase II-III construction activities on three days of this seven-day <br />reporting period (September 8 through September 10, 2004). <br />Phase II-III Extension <br />Ames began cut to fill activities associated with the extension project located at the southwest comer of <br />the Phase II and Phase IlI edge of VLF. <br />Ames continued production of bentonite-amended SLF for the Phase II-III extension at the screen plant <br />and pug mill located above the Ames materials yazd. Ames also continued production of Drain Covet <br />Fill (DCF) material at the screen plant by the secondary crusher. <br />A map of the area worked during this reporting period is provided in Attachment B. <br />Phase II-III 1 September 5-September 11, 2004 043-2170 <br />
