Aggregate Industries has also obtained groundwater level information from LaFarge, Inc. who
has been monitoring groundwater levels monthly in the area south and east of Mr. Roe's and Dr.
' Martin's properties since February 1998 as part of their Home Office Pit operations. LaFarge
collected 27 months of data prior to the construction of the slurry wall at the Stegner Farm
' property. The location of the LaFarge monitoring wells (designated in this report as L-1, L-2, L-
3, and L-5) are also shown on Figure 1. In addition, Aggregate Industries has visually observed
' the occurrence of water in the Taylor and Gill imgation ditch adjacent to the Stegner Farm, Roe,
and Martin properties to determine the period of irrigation in the area during the summer of
2001.

II

1

Z
