RECLAMATION PLAN
Requirement: It is not expected that any irrigation will be needed to establish the
riparian forest on the sediment basin areas. In fact, irrigation would probably be
detrimental. Adequate surface drainage is a more critical issue than irrigation. Irrigation is
not expected to be required for lands planted to grass (slopes, plant site, etc.). (No
discussion associated with this requirement)
Alternative Revegeta[ion Plans -
Requirement: In the event that the reservoir will not be established at the conclusion of
Phase 2, the fo-lowing special seed mix will be planted throughout the basin. Tamarix
control as well as control of other woody species will also be implemented as needed.
(See Page 17)
Buildings and Structures -
Requirement: In the event structures used in the mining are desired to be left by a
subsequent owner, permission will be sought from the Board to leave them. This does not
apply to the batch plant area. (No discussion associated with this requirement)
Signs and Markers -
Requirement: Permit notification signs will be placed and maintained at all entrance
points to the operation. (No discussion associated with this requirement)
Requirement: The permit boundary will be identified where it is not already identified by
fences. Most of this boundary is already marked by fences. (No discussion associated with
this requirement)
Requirement: The affected land boundary will be marked and the markers maintained.
(No discussion associated with this requirement)
Requirement: River setback boundaries, if different from other boundaries, will also be
marked and the markers maintained.
