Division of Minerals and Geology
-2-
March 28, 2003
We noted homes in that area; and we object to the granting of this permit for that
purpose as we feel what Rocky Mountain intends to do will spoil any potentials of
enhancement of that area - ruih the scenic view and immensely affect the value of
our property as well as the surrounding properties; for:
1. that area has a beautiful view;
2. would be a great opportunity and an ideal location
to start a housing division;
3. would be an ideal area for country living; and,
if Rocky Mountain is granted a: permit, this, undoubtedly, would never happen.
Permitting a. mining company to .mine gravel would create much noise, heavy truck
traffic, visual impacts, dust creating an unhealthy atmosphere; and would definitely
lower the value of the property surrounding such an operation.
It was also stated in the Public Notice that additiona9 information could be ob-
tained from your office. We would appreciate whatever information yo.u are able to
send.
Again, we. wish to .voice our concerns and objections to the approval of this permit;
and hope these concerns and objections will be-taken into consideration.
Thank you.
Ver ,truly yours,
(l /-~
June A.
