>~ ~«~ ~z <br />Exhibit C -Pre-mining and Mining Plan Map(sl of Affected Lands <br />;:. <br />A list and map of all immediately adjacent and nearby surface owners of record is presented in this <br />section. <br />The name and location of all creeks and roads are shown on the Index Map presented in Exhibit <br />B. The Index map is a portion of the Rifle and Silt 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Maps, T. 6 S., R .93 <br />W, 6'" P.M. <br />There aze no known oil and gas wells in the vicinity of the permit area. There is a gas line that <br />traverses the Phase I mining azea in a north south direction. The gas line is located on the section <br />line between Sections 14 and 15. No mining has or will be performed near or under this gas line. <br />There is a major power line corridor which runs in a north south direction across the Phase II and <br />Phase III mining areas. The power lines are owned by Colorado Ute. The Operator will work <br />with Colorado Ute to determine the appropriate radii of undisturbed soil to leave around the poles <br />to assure the integrity of the power line is not jeopardized. <br />Casey concrete has a batch plant, office, truck scale, fuel tanks and associated facilities within <br />200-feet of the permit boundary. These facilities are outside of the mining area so no special <br />protection measures are warranted. <br />The Union Pacific Rail Road tracks and State Highway 6 & 24 are within 200-feet of the permit <br />boundary. These facilities are outside of the mining area so no special protection measures are <br />warranted. <br />The existing topography is presented on Exhibit C Premining/Mining Map. In general, the land <br />surface gently slopes to the southwest. <br />The total area to be mined is presented on Exhibit C Premining/Mining Map. The type of present <br />vegetation is also shown on this map. <br />The Operator's structures and stockpiling and process areas aze shown on Exhibit C <br />Premining/Mining Map. The new stockpiling and process area is shown in the Phase II area. <br />Additionally, there is an Recreational Vehicle park located on the bank of the Colorado River <br />south of the Operator's office. <br />A soils information map is presented in Exhibit I. <br />Page C - 1 <br />
