SCHMIDT USR LETTER PAGE2 materials as listed in the enclosed packet. Pre-Submittal Meetings aze held every Thursday and the process is fully explained in the packet. Portions of the entire 2,760 acres (1,110 acres previously leased and 1,650 acres new lease) operated by Schmidt Construction Company aze under a current Use by Special Review known as Coal Creek Resource Sand Mining, Case No. U96-001, approved by the Board of County Commissioners on May 20, 1996. That USR application covers lands in all or parts of Sections 11, 12, 13, 14, 24, and 25, Township 5 South, Range 65 West of the 6a' P.M., on a total of 1,590 acres. A copy of that six-page document can be obtained at our offices. We hope that all of the enclosed materials provide a full description of the required process for the Use by Special Review necessary to proceed with sand and gravel operation on the above-described 1,650-acre property.
