Upon completion of mining
~ operations and reclamation in the adjoining 9.956 acre mine,
the surface of this service and support area will be cleared
of all equipment, materials and facilities, and returned to
agricultural use as it was before involvement with mining of
sand and gravel under auspices of this permit.
Reclamation of the 9.956 acre mined area will convert the
site from agricultural use to a recreational area/wildlife
habitat in accordance with Exhibit F, Reclamation Plan Maps
(Revised). Essential elements of Chis plan involve construc-
tion of a lake surrounded by a landscaped area including a
picnic area, a surfaced parking lot and foot trail accesst
the landscaped area will be top soiled to a depth of at least
12 inches, graded, seeded, and planted to provide a suitable
vegetative surface for the intended purpose. Significant
aspects of the earthwork mechanics involved in development
of this site ha~•e been previously covered in detail in Ex-
hibit D, Mining Plan (Revised).
Parking lot in the Landscaped area surrounding the lake will ~
be 50 feet in width by 140 feet in length, and divided so as
to provide parking facilities for 15 passenger type vehicles
at one time plus turning and maneuver space for vehicles
' entering and leaving the site. This area will have a suit-
~ able compacted subgrade and compacted gravel surface so as
to provide an all weather parking capability. Trail from
the parking area to picnic areas will have a compacted
gravel surface 5 feeC in width and suitable for all weather
foot traffic.
~ '
y
