Please
respond to the applicable comments noted in the letter.
9. The operator plans on dewatering the pit to facilitate reclamation. Please state if a current
NPDES Permit exists for this activity.
Please be advised that Glass Gravel Pit AM-02 Application may be deemed inadequate, and the
application maybe denied on May 12, 2005 unless the above-mentioned adequacy review items
are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. If you feel more time is needed to complete your
reply, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This will be done upon receipt of
a written waiver of your right to a decision by May 12, 2005 and request for additional time.
This must be received no later than the deadline date.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Si er y,
` `~
Erica Crosby i
Environrnental Protection Specialist
Enclosure(s); AM-Ol Reclamation Plan & Letter from OSE
cc: Carl Mount; DMG
William Schenderlein; Applegate Group, Inc. w/enclosure(s)
