I don't see any problem with sending the letter with the
public notification, but as it pertains to landownership - Carma owns the land, but
Siegrist (with Meurer as the
contractor) is the operator (and OUR permitee). So, the potentially liable entity is
actually Siegrist/Meurer, that is until you guys do a succession of operators and move
operator status to Carma. Until that time, Siegrist is still the potentially responsible
party financially in case of damage and should be listed as such in any documentation.
Let me know if you need any further clarification.
Thanks for checking with me first - hopefully that helps.
-Deb
Deb Gonima
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Minerals and Geology
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
303-866-4176 ph.
303-832-8106 fax
[Gonima, Deb]
-----Original Message-----
From: Jodi Villa [mailto:JVi11aOMeurer.com]
Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2006 7:44 AM
To: Deb Gonima (E-mail)
Cc: Fred Tafoya (E-mail)
Subject: FW: St Vrain Lakes - Letter to Utility Companies
Hello Deb,
One of your inspection comments involved getting letters from utility
companies stating that Carma will be responsible for any utilities damaged
by construction of Carma's project. We were thinking of including a copy of
this letter (see below} to utility companies with the public notification.
It would be signed and returned to us, per your requirement. Do you have
any comments on this letter?
Pacific Energy Partners
Central Weld County Water District
Kerr McGee Oil and Gas Onshore LP
St. Vrain Sanitation district
Kinder Morgan
United Power
plus the ditch companies, per your email to me
Thanks,
Jodi
-----Original Message-----
3
