Also suggested Bonding requirements for Locations A and B. The only reason for having a Rock Quarry is to sell mat rial and I assure you that every effort will be made on my part to sell as much of the 3" material as is possible and of the rip-rap and building s one. If the economy should collapse I do not want to be forc d into doing something that would mean certain bankruptcy for me. There or I propose that if after 8 years I have been unable to sell the 3" stoc pile that it be left in place and that I bull-doze a series of terrace for drainage on the face of the stock pile (see attached drawings) and cat h the run- off water in a settlement pond, which would overflow into th natural drainage pattern. The stock pile would then be planted with trees and grass. I am hoping you will give my plan serious consideration and do not depend on Bennett Boeschenstein for the op Mesa County, we have never agreed on anything and probably never will . May I sug est if you need to consult with more than the settlement stipulation between myself and the county, that you call Lyle Dechant, the Mesa County Ittorney, His phone Number is 244-1612, as he is the man that wrote the se tlement stipulation. A couple of additional points that should be considered about this amendment are: 1 . I have a liability insurance policy for $300, 000. 00 vritten by the Colorado Farm Bureau, the policy # is GL158569. 2. If I am required to post bond on the removal of this stock pile it will be the only stock pile in Mesa County with a bond on it. After reviewing this application please advise me of your decision as soon as possible.
