Exhibit D -Mining Plan
Information presented in Exhibit D of the original permit application materials for this
site is still accurate, as mining activity will proceed as described by the original
application materials.
Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan
The Applicant and respective landowners are currently taking the steps to complete an
annexation by the City of Brighton of the permitted, 124` Estates mining property
(approximately 35 acres) and of the Henad property to the south of the mining site and
east of the Fulton Ditch (approximately 25 acres). (For clarification, subdivision of the
Henad property has been approved by the Adams County Boazd of Commissioners, and
the subdivision plat should be recorded before the end of September 2002. When this
subdivision is finalized, there will be one lot from the original Henad property on the east
side of the Fulton Ditch, which will then be legally described as Lot 2 Corrigan
Subdivision.)
Following annexation, the Applicant will finalize the purchase of the Henad property and
then submit plans to the City of Brighton to further subdivide this pazcel on the east side
of the Fulton Ditch to be developed for commercial and light industrial use. Following
this subdivision, development would occur immediately after mining and reclamation of
the 124a' Estates site has been completed. Tn these circumstances, the access route, which
is the subject of this Application to Amend, would be incorporated into the development
plans of the larger parcel and would disappear as part of the overlot grading.
In the circumstances that physical development of land south of the mining site will not
start immediately following reclamation activity at the mining azea, the Applicant will
take steps to reclaim the area of the access route. In these circumstances, road base will
be removed, and the access road will be graded to conform to the contour of surrounding
land. The disturbed area of the access route would then be disced and drill or broadcast
seeded, using the grass seed mix and application rates approved for application to the
disturbed areas of the mining site.
Exhibit F -Reclamation Plan Map
Information presented in Exhibit F of the original permit application materials for this
site is still accurate, as reclamation of the mine site will occur as previously described.
When reclamation of the mining area is completed, the access route to 120a' Avenue,
proposed by this Application to Amend, would be incorporated into development of the
pazcels that it passes through. If physical development of this land does not begin
immediately, the azea of the access route will be reclaimed as described in Exhibit E. No
Reclamation Plan Map is included with this Application to Amend.
Application to Amend - 4 - 124`" Es[ates Partners, LLC
DMG 112 Reclamation Permit M-2001-085 124`" Estates Sand and Gravel Mine
Scott Keen -September 2002 Henderson, Colorado
