"A reportable spill is a spill of any toxic or hazardous substance (including spills of petroleum <br />products) within the permit azea reportable to any Division of the Colorado Department of Public <br />Health and the Environment, the national Response Center, the Colorado Emergency Planning <br />Committee, or the State Oil Inspector. The operator shall notify the Office of a reportable spill <br />within the permit area using the same timeframe required by the permit, license, notice, Act, <br />Rule or Regulation governing the reporting of the spill to the appropriate agency. Notice of a <br />reportable spill shall be Faxed to: Minerals Program Supervisor, Division of Minerals and <br />Geology, FAX (303) 832-8106. The FAX shall include acall-back number of a responsible <br />company official for the DMG staff to use as a contact " <br />4. Toasoil and Overburden Handling <br />Initial pre-stripping for the Anderson Pit will occur in the Staging Area, Phase 1, and access <br />roads across the permit azea. As the topsoil from these azeas is stripped, it will be stored in the <br />western berm stockpile as material becomes available. The overburden will be stripped from <br />Phase I and stored in a stockpile to the south as it becomes available. These stockpiles are <br />shown on Map C-2. The topsoil stockpile will be temporazily seeded with a dryland pasture mix <br />within 2 months of stockpiling.
