they are not in secondary containment; however they will always be stored within
one or the other secondary containment.
19. The weed control plan has been revised as requested.
27. Text has been added to the Revegetation Plan in the Reclamation Plan to indicate
that fall applications of seed will take place between September 1 and October 15
annually.
34. As stated in the Reclamation Plan, only the areas where peninsulas are to be built
will be compacted to 95% of the maximum theoretical compaction. The slopes
will not be compacted to a 95% compaction. Also as stated in the Reclamation
Costs Exhibit, "If for any reason mining ceased in an area where a peninsula was
to be built and the peninsula has not been created yet, it will not be included in the
reclamation in order to decrease the liability." Thus there is no reason to obtain a
95% compaction below the water table.
37. Map F has been revised to include the discharge structures upon completion of the
project.
38. A new map exhibit C-5 has been included which includes the staging area which
will be located in the southeast corner of Phase 12. This map is a blown up area of
Phase 12 which illustrates all foundations which will be in place as well as
estimated area which will be affected by the staging area. The footprint of the
concrete used in the concrete plant will be approximately 5,400 ftZ and will be
reinforced with rebar. The fuel bunker will have a concrete footprint of 864 ftz
and the sidewall will be approximately 4 feet high, to give the containment a
storage volume of 25,000 gallons. The scales will have a concrete footprint of 700
RZ. Concrete in the fuel bunker, office/scale will also be reinforced with rebar.
42. New damage waivers have been obtained from all parties which require damage
waivers. Both signatures have been notarized.
If you have any questions please feel free to call me at (303) 810-4377.
Sincerely,
Greg Gibson
Greg Lewicki and Associates
