(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Nb and c Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of August 10 through August 16, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 47° F to 54° F, and highs ranged from 75° F to 79° F. Weather observations were made on six days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction S~il0_DSiS Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb construction. Ames conducted Phase Nb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (August 11 through August 16). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (August 11 through August 16). Phase Nb Ames continued re-contouring and compaction of subgrade Structural Fill (SF) in preparation for Soil Liner Fill (SLF) placement in the Phase Nb OSA on the south facing slopes of Raven Hill, north of the PSSA. Ames continued excavation of the Phase Nb OSA geomembrane anchor trench at the Phase N b/c tie- in area, excavating approximately 500 linear feet of anchor trench in preparation for geomembtane deployment. Ames placed, and compacted existing Soil Liner Fill (SLF) material into the Phase Nb OSA on the .south slope of Raven Hill (west of the LOB). No SLF was hauled during this reporting .period.
