1-.
EXHIBIT D
Mining Plan (Rule 6.4.4)
ADDENDUM
R~~iv~q
SEP ~ ~ 2004
Dhlsfo o7~aerafs ~~logl,
Sandco insures that there will be sufficient topsoil salvaged and stockpiled for
reclamation at any time during the operation. On the 3-1 backslopes, we estimate it will
require approximately 40 cubic feet of topsoil stockpile per IineaI foot of backslope. This
topsoil will be temporarily placed on the outer edges of the excavated backslopes-within
the permitted boundary-for reclamation.
Reclamation topsoil for the "working face" or dry mined azea, which initially runs
east and west and then ultimately south to north, will be stockpiled on the west side
within the permitted boundary as indicated on the mining plan map. We estimate this
volume of topsoil to be approximately 2200 cubic yazds.
Reclamation topsoil for the proposed access road will be placed along the north
side of the road within the permitted boundary. We estimate this volume to be approx.750
cubic yazds. All topsoil stockpiles will be protected from degradation.
