(7) There will be no growth media, fertilizer or mulch <br />applied since this is being developed as an industrial site. <br />As stated earlier, in the mining process, a minimum ofi 6" to <br />12" of pit run material will be left on the floor ofi the pit <br />as a plate. <br />(B) There are no vegetative piles to be dealt with in recla- <br />mation ofi this site. <br />3.1.10 Revegetation. <br />As stated earlier, this site is being developed for indus- <br />trial use and there will be no revegetation. It would be <br />redundant to revegetate the site and then eliminate the veg- <br />etation with industrial traffic. <br />(2) It the operator's choice of reclamation is torest plant- <br />ing .......... <br />The operator has not selected forest planting, so this sec- <br />tion is not applicable. <br />(3) The operator's choice of reclamation is for an indus- <br />trial site, and the land will 6e restored to slopes <br />commensurate with the proposed land use, and traversing by <br />livestock is not a concern. <br />(4> Since there is no revegetation or livestock usage pro- <br />posed, the timing of grazing has nothing to do with this <br />reclamation program. <br />3.1.11 Buildings and Structures <br />There are no buildings or structures on site that will re- <br />quire any special treatment or protection from the operator, <br />local government or the Hoard. See Exhibit "S" - Permanent <br />Man-Made Structures, in this application. <br />3.1.12 Signs and Markers <br />(1) At the entrance of the mine site, the operator shall <br />post a sign with the following: <br />(a) name of operator <br />(b) A statement that a reclamation permit for <br />the operation has been issued by the MLRB <br />(c) the permit number <br />(2) The boundaries of the affected area will be marked by <br />monuments or other markers that are clearly visible and ad- <br />equate to delineate such boundaries. <br />Orange painted posts are generally used. <br />
