(4) All backfiilling and grading shall 6e completed as soon
as possible afiter the mining process. The operator shall es-
tablish reasonable timetables consistent with good mining
practices and reclamation procedures.
The operator proposes to do the limited backsloping as part
of the mining process. Reclamation will consist primarily of
leveling the pit floor, after mining proceeds, for industrial
use. A plate of 6" - 12" of pit run material will be left on
the pit floor.
(S) There are no refuse, acid-forming or toxic materials
mined or handled on site that could cause unsightliness or
affect the drainage system.
(6) There are no drill or auger holes involved in this op-
eration to be plugged to prevent polluting drainage. Neither
are there any adits or shafts to be closed or reclaimed.
(7) Maximum slopes and combination shall be compatible with
the contiguration of surrounding conditions and land use.
Any backslopes will have a maximum slope of 2H:iV or flatter,
which will be compatible with surroundings and land use. No
swimming or pond will be involved after reclamation.
(8) Ifi the operator"s choice of reclamation is for agricul-
tural or horticultural crops which normally require the use
of farm machinery, the operator shall grade so that the area
can 6e traversed with farm machinery.
The operator"s choice of reclamation is industrial use as op-
posed to agricultural or horticultural. However, the area
will be graded to service any industrial use proposed by the
operator.
(9) An operator may backfill structural fiill material gener-
ated within the permitted area into the excavated pit within
the permit area..._.......
No structural backfill material will be used in reclamation:
(10) All mined materials to be disposed of within the af-
fected area must be handled in such a manner as to prevent
any unauthorized release of pollutants to the surfiace drain-
age system.
The mine materials are sand, gravel and overburden only,
which are basically inert chemically and will not release any
pollutants to the surface drainage system.
