ti) natures depth and thickness of the deposit to be mined
and thickness and type of overburden.
The entire permit area consists of Cascajo and Kim-Cascajo
soil series. These are the main soil types in upland depos-
its in this area. The aggregate varies from 15' to 35' in
depth. It is a good aggregate far most all construction
needs in the area, The rock/sand ratio is at least 50/50 and
possibly higher on the rock side. Some parts of this deposit
have not overburden while other parts can have 8'-12'. A
small amount of the overburden will be saved for the limited
amount ofi backsloping that will be done in the final pit
shaping.
(ii) nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material
to be mined in sedimentary deposits.
The stratum immediately below the aggregate is primarily
sandstone and/or clay.
(g) identify the primary and secondary commodities to be
mined and describe the intended use.
The primary commodities to be mined are a good quality sand
and gravel and overburden. The main use intended by the op-
erator is for construction aggregates to be used for road
base, asphalt aggregates, some landscaping and leach rock,
and fill materials, among other use. There are no secondary
commodities to be mined or produced from this deposit.
(h) name and describe the intended use of all expected inci-
dental products to be mined by this operation.
There will be no secondary or incidental products involved
with this operation, as stated immediately above.
