ENVIRONMENT, INC.
JUNE 7 6, 2006' "
P ASE 2
since it is the Counties intent to revegetate this area.
Any water that collects in the low spot will evaporate or
soak into~the ground as it has for years.
4. This'has been. corrected I prepared and signed the revised
.Reclamation Plan Map."
5. The Grand County Surveyor is working on locating the permit
boundary line. We will submit proof of permit boundary
location.when it is completed and we do not believe this
area is crosses the permit line. we are currently research-
ing how, when and what happened in this area. This'informa-
tion and .will present a stabilization plan will be submitted
to the Division as soon as it is completed.
6. .County Road 107 dead ends at the mine entrance. The section
of the, road from there to the south line was an old jeep
trail. The BLM who owns this site and CDOW who own the land
to the south want this road closed. At this time a safety
berm has been placed on the south permit line so no one can
enter the mine. It effectively closes it from that end and
a gate closes it on the north end. This road will not be
replaced as it is removed by mining and the section running
along the west side of the site will be ripped, resoiled and
seeded when mining~is done.
7. Historically this mine was referred to as the "Good Eye Bill
Pit" by old timers in the area. When permitted in 1995 the
County choose,to use the name Inspiration Point Gravel Pit
to identify it. Yes, the photo shows the Inspiration Point
Gravel Pit.
Thank you,for your help on this matter and'if you have any
questions please call me at (303) 423-7297.
Sincerely,
Environment, Inc'
~.Y ~~v~
Stevan L.
