25
-r.d. -: - . ,.
XII. 6.4.1?"'HXH[6[T L - Redarrration Coats
A. Under 6.4.12(/), all information necessary to calculate the costs of reclamation must be submitted and
broken "down into various maior Phases of reclamation. The information provided by the operator must
be su~cienr to calculate the cost of reclamation that would be incurred by the stare
1. Ar requested under Exhibit E, please provide a map or maps showing the actual or conceptual
+,'topography with easily readable contour intervals.
Response:, As addressed above in response to the comment in Section IV.E.1, a revised Figure F-1 is provided
in Attachment 5, which includes readable contour intervals and actual or conceptual topography.
2. The detailed reclamation cost estimate provided in volume VIl! Appendix 1! is good. lYowever,
it lacks specjjes such as from which stockpile the overbwden and topsoil were trucked to
reclaim each area. The Division needs the source of these materials for haul distance
calculafwns, etc.
Response:; Soil :was projected to be hauled from the stockpile closest to the area tieing reclaimed. For example,
Fast Giesson Mine reclamation used East Cresson I and R soil stockpiles, SGOSA reclamation used
North Squaw III soil stockpile, and the VLF reclamation used El14oa IY soil stockpile, haulage profiles
(disiatlde and grade) were measured from existing drawings and haulage productivity then was
calculated on the Ca[ Simulator. Lazge reclamation areas were divided into a number of cemroids and
haulage profiles from the stockpile were measured to each centroid A weighted average of the
cenrroid's heated volume and the simulated productivity was calculated
AE this time, it is not planned to use any overburden as subsoil to reclaim areas so the OMLR's
comments on the stockpile for overburden need not be addressed
XII[. 6.+1.10 EXHIBIT M• Other ]i'etrt11L4 aa4 Licenses
Has the operator listed all permits, licenses and approvals the operator/applicant holds or will seek in order to
conduct the proposed mining and reclamation operations?
Renpottse: To the hest of CC& V's knowledge, ell permits, licenses, and approvals that we hold ar will seek
relative to the environmental aspects of the operation are idetttified in 8xhibit M.
XIV. 6.4.14 - EXHIBIT N- Source of Legal Right to Enter
f
Under Rule 6.3.7, the operator is required to provide a statement by the landowner and acknowledged by a
Notary Public'stating that the aperamr/applicant has legal right to enter and mine, in lieu of a copy of access
lease deeds abs{tact of title or a current raz receipt. The agreement provided giving legal right to enter is not
notarized ,
~;
Reaponse:~ Attachment 12 to these responses contains notarized copies of the legal tight ro enter.
XV. 6.4.15 EXHIBIT O.Owaer(s) of Record of Affected Land (surface area) and Owners of
Substance Yo be mined
A, Nos the operator identtjied al! owners of record !n accordance with Rule 6.4.13?
~: s .: .
