Mix ten minutes prior to each subsequent withdrawal. 2. Add sufficient water to the mako-up tank to cover the agitator. Start mixing. The make-up water must be clean and between 50 end 180°F. 3. With make-up wster flowing at maximum velocity through the eductor portion of a modified Nalco® Type III Disperser, pour the 8873 into the funnel. The modification consists of the insertion of an orifice plug (Part No. P45991 into the polymer metering portion of the eductor. 4. After all of the NALCO 8873 has been added, continue adding water to the tank until full; then mix for 20 minutes to develop maximum activity. Automated make-up systems aro availebb from Nakao. Suggested in-plant storage limit is one year in unopened drums. NALCO 8873 should be rtored at temperatures between 50 and 100°F. Although 8873 hes complete freeze/thaw recovery, storage below 50°F may cause handling difficulties related to increased viscosity.
