It also addresses certain areas incWdad <br />wdhin the total affected acreage for which the post-mining lard use is being clarified, to reflect the <br />expected future use of these, areas. In allot tnese latter ;,aces. the current sde conddion Is the same as it <br />would ba in the aftemahve post-mining land usu. which alternative posbmining land use was speciflcalty <br />described in the onginal 1980 permit applicaUOn Accordingly, the two categores described above are <br />lands bung raques'ted for ren~cval 'rom the affected area <br />Colorado DBMS staK responsible for oversight of the Colony m:rong permit vsited the site on <br />June 5, 2007 to inspect all areas requested for release from the affected area. This <br />amendment made the point to declare that the lands described in its Exhibit A should supersede ail <br />previous amendments fVevertheless, the "total permit area' figure of o.778 acres was again not updated <br />As ~s described m more detail later in this report, this request for re'ease seeks to remove from <br />the 'affected acreage" alt of the Parachute lands, and all of the access road improvement lands on former <br />Unocal property. Therefore, the aL•ove describod discrepancies between the'total permit area" and the <br />sum o' the original permit area and all subsequent amendments can easily be rectified by simply limiting <br />the 'total permit area' to the 6,084.2 acrc-s described in Exhibd A of the 1984 amendment. approved <br />Decemoer 1 :. 19A4. Far completeness, a copy of that property description from the 1984 Amardment <br />Exhibit A is included here m Appendix 8 to Isis report Ths 1984 'Colony Resource Block' tract includes <br />all affected acreage romaming after this revision is approved. The area mGuded in this 19A4 "Colony <br />Resource Block" along with the entire ExxonMobu resource block property boundary, are depicted on the <br />small scale insert on Exh~brt F-1 i in Appendix A to this report. <br />
