'?. ?3 and 19) This area encompases 251 acres of affected acreage associated with on-sde access roatls. including approximately 56 acres of roadway surface and 195 acres of cut and feu side slopes and benched rock cuts assoGated with the roadway construction. For the surface areas of tnese roatls, this apphcahon provides a c:anficatlon that the long term post-mmirg land use wet be the continued use of the roads as suggested in the original March 1980 permd application (Exhibit E, p E-46j and requests that these roadway suRace areas be removed Irom the affected area because they are ~n their current post-miring land use !orm The side Slopes of these roads. wltich are completed anaror reclaimed. are also ~n Ihelr hnai post•mming land use form, which in some cases involves revegetaUOn but m others invo'wes stable rock faces or talus slopes not amenable to reveyetation, For clarity, the discussion is separated in to the Individual sub-areas as tlefined in the Interim Sde P:an (ISP) 32.1 Colony Gate to Lab.'Offlce Complex (ISP Area 4j This area encompasses a total of 17 acres of affected area, mclud~ng 5 acres of permanent roadway surface, 7 acres of permanently reclaimed areas adjacent to the road, and 4 acres of active off;ce+iab bwldmgs and 1 acre of active Sediment Pond 5. Only the 12 acres of roadway surface and compietetl reGamation areas are requested for release in tnis submaal The location of this area ~s presented on Exhiba F-3. and post minir.y tdpoyraphy is as shown on Exhida F~7 Limas of the areas that will remain active a8eded acreage after approval of this plan are depicted on Exhiba F-11.
