3. An issue for the Division to consider is what amount of bond will cover this application. <br />Because surface water standards for pH range from 6.5 to 9.0, any pH in that range must be <br />considered acceptable. Thus, the Division could approve a bond amount for treatment to a <br />pH of 9. Please include a reclamation cost estimate in event the State would be required to <br />assume treatment of the C-Pit water. <br />Please be advised that Division's decision due date is set for January 2, 2006. If you feel more time <br />is needed to complete your reply, the Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This will <br />be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by January 2, 2006 and request <br />for additional time. This must be received no later than the deadline date.
