Board Action: The Board reviewed Mr. Ward's information and request for
reconsideration of the Board's March 18, 2003 opinion given to
Douglas County regarding the licensing requirements for design of
grading, erosion, and sedimentation control. it was the consensus of
the Board to reaffirm ds position of March 16, 2003 that the design and
preparation of greding, erosion and sediment contrcl plans constitutes
the practice of engineering as defined in section 12-25102(10), C.R.S.

Markers" -Phyllis McGlathery
Board Action: The Board reviewed Ms. McGlathery's letter wdh regard to clarification
on'old government markers'versus'newCPS markers' and other
various issues raised. It was the consensus of the Board to
recommend that Ms. McGlathery hire a lend surveyor to researoh the
matter and concerns of the past and the present to determine the
status of her property today. Further, with regard to the houndary
dispute to which Ms. McGlathery referred, the Board determined that is
a legal matter over which the Board has no jurisdiction.

to the rules recently adopted by the Commission regarding well
location certificates. It was the consensus of the Board to issue a letter
to the COGCC, expressing the Board's disappointment in the outcome
of the ruling, Further, d is the position of the Board that preparing well
locafion certificates is the predice of land surveying and the Board will
continue to proceed with disciplinary action when noted of unlawful
practice.
