RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS <br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF LICENSURE FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS AND <br />PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYORS MEETING HELD AT 1560 BROADWAY, SUITE 1380, <br />DENVER, COLORADO ON FRIDAY. NOVEMBER 11.2005 <br />This meeting of the Board was publicly noticed according to the Division of Registrations' <br />Policy 60.17. <br />I. MEETING -CALL TO ORDER: <br />The meeting was piled to order by Peter Monroe, Board Chair, at 9:00 a.m. <br />II. RECOGNITION OF MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />Peter D. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES: <br />Paul Gilbert moved that the September 9, 2005 minutes be approved as amended. <br />William Starker seconded the motion and d carried with Dan Corooran and Sandra <br />Spnlon abstaining. <br />IV. STAFF COMMENTS: <br />Angeline Kinnaird Linn, Program Director, welcomed new Administrative Assistant, <br />Donna Conti, wtm wi{I be handling the EngineerslSurveyors Board meetings, agenda <br />packages and follow-up and who will have the same duties for the Arohtects Board. <br />Joyce s posibon is being revaluated and she will be the Enforcement Analyst for both <br />Boards, responsible for the complaint and probation monitoring processes. These <br />changes are an effort to streamline duties between the programs, balance fhe worklpd, <br />and enable a more effective approach. <br />Ms. Kinnaird Linn reported to the Board about the recent Sunset Report on the Architects <br />Board. The Sunset Report discussed no longer regulating the Architects Board or <br />combining the Architects Board with the EngineerslSurveyors Board. The Report <br />recommends that the Architects Board be combined with the EngineerslSurveyors Board. <br />The Board discussed its concerns with this possibility. <br />If the combined board takes effect, Ms. Kinnaird Linn would like to brainstorm ideas from <br />both Boards to determine what alternatives might be viable to manage the workload. <br />A hearing on the Sunset Report will take place Thursday, November 17, 2005. The <br />eadiest effective date for the combined Board would be July 1, 2006. <br />Ms. Kinnaird Linn reported on recent discussions within the Division of Registrations <br />concerning sex oflenders as a result of the Legislative audit of the Division.
