CAMEO GRAVEL EXHIBIT D MINING PLAN South Area Mine Plan (14.03 Acre Parcel) All of the South Area Parcel is currently being sought for purchase by Ute Water Conservancy District to expand their filter plant site. Purchase negotiations failed resulting in condemnation proceedings by the District. Should Ute water District be successful in obtaining the South Area, it shall be unwillingly but summarily removed from this application. All other Mine Areas shall remain valid. The South Area Plan (4.3 acres) calls for excavation of the material with a zero (0) foot set-back from the existing property line and a set back of one-hundred (100) feet from the centerline of Rapid Creek Road and Ute Water property line. Rapid Creek Road is assumed to have a sixty (60) foot right-of-way because a sixty (60) foot right-of-way has been established North and East of the Ute Water Plant. The materials excavated or gathered from the South Area shall be transported along the adjacent portion of Rapid Creek Road and established haul roads to the Middle area or North area for processing and/or stockpiling. Surface removal of landscape & rip/rap material is proposed for the remainder of the 14.03 acre parcel, excepting the steep slopes along Rapid Creek South of the Ute water Filter Plant. West Area Mine Plan (25.24 Acre Parcel): The West Area Plan (9.34 Acres affected area} excavation of the material with a thirty (30) foot set-back from the South and east property lines, atwenty-five (25) foot set- back from Public Service Company of Colorado existing gas line and a fifty (50) foot set-back from the existing rock and barbed wire fence along the crest of the steep slope descending toward the Colorado River and I-70 Corridor. The materials excavated or gathered from the West Area shall be transported along the existing roads to the Middle Area or North Area main yard for processing and/or stockpiling.
