Joint bands shall be positioned <br />and drawn tight before the next section of pipe is positioned. <br />Deflections or "kinks" at joints shall be acceptable provided they <br />are not greater than the maximum deflection recommended by the pipe <br />manufacturer. <br />Coupling bands for the CMP pipe shall be the manufacturer's <br />standard galvanized coupling bands designed to hold end to end butt <br />joints securely fastened together and in alignment.
