2.0 SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />• 2.1 Contractor's Resoonsibility <br />The Contractor shall examine these Specifications and Drawings <br />to be aware of all conditions at the site affecting execution of the <br />work. These conditions include, but are not limited to: <br />• Applicable safety and health regulations; <br />• Transportation and access conditions; <br />• Availability of utilities; <br />• Subsoil conditions; <br />• Location, availability, and condition of construction <br />materials; <br />• Climate and construction conditions at the site; <br />• Dust abatement requirements; <br />• Water source required for construction. <br />• ~ 2.2 Mobilization <br />Upon receipt of the notice to proceed, the Contractor shall <br />furnish, mobilize, and install such temporary works, materials, <br />equipment, and construction facilities as are necessary for the <br />successful completion of the work. The Contractor shall also operate <br />and maintain such temporary works, equipment, and construction <br />facilities throughout the period of construction. All temporary <br />works, such as sanitation facilities, shall fully conply with the <br />applicable rules and regulations of the governing authorities. <br />The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and <br />permissions to utilize roads for mobilization, demobilization, and <br />access to the site. Access to the site is available by using existing <br />public roads and Owner's roads. <br /> Access roads required for construction operations or for the <br />• convenience of the Contractor shall be approved by the Owner and <br />5 <br />
