Walther <br />Executive Director <br />Ronald W. Cattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />The Division completed a technical review of your conversion application. Following aze items <br />of concern that need to be addressed: ... .. <br />1) The conversion involves an increase in acreage and a change in the pit name..The review .. <br />shall proceed as though the conversion application is a new pemut application pursuant , <br />to Rule 6.4. In addition, requirements of Rule 1,11.2(3) shall apply. In particular, the. <br />applicant shall provide all the information required for the size of the operation. Any <br />information required by the Act which has been previously supplied, unless such <br />information is different from that in the original application, does not need to be :. ,. <br />submitted. However, the applicant shall clearly describe where in the original application <br />and supporting documents the information may be found. The new application-shall show <br />the azea mined or disturbed and the area reclaimed since the original permit application. <br />2) Exhibit A - OK <br />3) Exhibit B - OK <br />4) Exhibit C -Pre-mining and mining plan maps must comply with requirements of Rule <br />6.2: <br />a) show the name of the applicant <br />b) must be prepared and signed by a qualified person <br />c) give the date prepazed <br />d) accurately identify and outline the azea which corresponds with the application <br />e) the maps must contain a map scale, an appropriate legend, a map title, a date and <br />a north arrow <br />Pursuant to Rule 6.4.3, one or more maps maybe necessazy to portray the following <br />information: <br />a) all adjoining surface owners of record - OK <br />b) the existing topography of the azea with contour lines of sufficient detail to <br />portray the direction and rate of slope of the affected land <br />c) accurately show the total azea to be involved in the operation <br />
