(g) Existing and Proposed Roadways
As stated above, the Cash and Who Do Mine Project activities will be
carried out using existing roadways which will be maintained in their
current configuration to accommodate ore haulage vehicles in
accordance with applicable MSHA standards. Appropriate berming, water
bars, and culverts will be incorporated where necessary.
(h) Water Consumption
There will be minimal consumptive use of water at the Mount Royale
Adits, generally only that associated with the miner's dry and associated
septic system operations, and minor evaporative loss from the adit
sump(s).
Mount Royale Ventures, LLC will construct and operate a water well and
septic system in conjunction with the Mount Royale No. 1 Adit operations.
Both features (including obtaining the water right for consumptive use
withdrawal) will be installed and operated in accordance with applicable
State of Colorado and Boulder County permits, water righUappropriations,
and other requirements. It is anticipated that potable water supplies will
be imported to the site via a contract service or other commercially
available source.
(i) Groundwater/Surface Water Impacts and Controls
Groundwater impacts are not anticipated. The Cash and Who Do Mine
Project is designed to operate as a "zero-discharge" operation, consistent
with the approved operations contained within Permit No. M-83-141. The
proposed septic system will be operated in accordance with applicable
Boulder County permit requirements.
Surface water impacts are anticipated to be neglible, mitigated by existing
or planned controls. Existing and planned controls remain consistent with
the approved Permit No. M-83-141 and the P2004-006 and P2004-007
prospecting permits. Associated in-place water runoff controls generally
include the utilization of berming, culverts, and water bars on roadways
and upslope diversions proximal to areas of surface disturbance.
~) Water Rights
Mount Royale Ventures, LLC will obtain the appropriate well permit and
withdrawal right to support consumptive uses associated with the to-be-
constructed water well or other applicable activities. Due to the limited
nature of withdrawals anticipated, it is not anticipated that there will be
material injury to existing water rights.
(k) Refuse, Acid, or Toxic Producing Materials
There will be no refuse, acid, or toxic producing materials associated with
the Cash and Who Do Mine Project operations.
Exhibit C -Mining Plan 5
