(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction <br />Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of June 8 <br />through June 14, 2003. <br />The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low <br />temperatures ranged from 35° F to 43° F, and highs ranged from 60° F to 75° F. Precipitation was <br />recorded on four days of this seven-day reporting period (June 9, 10, 13 and 14). Weather <br />observations were made on six days of this seven-day reporting period. <br />Construction Synopsis <br />Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb <br />construction. Ames conducted Phase IVb and c construction activities on six days of this seven-day <br />reporting period (June 9 through June 14, 2003). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nb construction activities <br />on six days of this seven-day reporting period (June 9 through June 14, 2003). <br />Phase IVb <br />Ames continued excavation of the Phase Nb / Nc geomembrane anchor trench, excavating <br />approximately 150 feet of anchor trench west of the Loadout bin (LOB) azea in prepazation for <br />geomembrane deployment. Ames began excavation of the Phase Nb primary geomembrane anchor <br />trench near the Phase Na tie-in, excavating approximately 500 feet of anchor trench in prepazation for <br />geomembrane deployment. <br />• <br />
