(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVb and c Construction • Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of May 25 through May 31, 2003. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 39° F to 49° F, and highs ranged from 66° F to 80° F. Precipitation was recorded on May 25 through May 31. Weather observations were made on six days of this seven- day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Constmction Ina (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nb construction. Ames conducted Phase Nb and c construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (May 26 through May 31, 2003). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nb construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (May 26 through May 31, 2003). Phase IVb Ames began excavation of the Phase IVb /Phase Nc geomembrane anchor trench, excavating approximately 200 feet of northern anchor trench, west of the Loadout bin (LOB) azea. Ames also excavated approximately 150 feet of temporary anchor trench azound the LOB turnout. Ames completed backfill of upper Phase IVb PSSA primary anchor trench, backfilling approximately • 200 feet of north primary anchor trench, and approximately 200 feet of south ore slope primary anchor trench.
