For simplification the parcels will be referred to in this letter <br /> as "074" and "119". Parcel "074" has been classified by the assessors office as <br /> commercial/industrial for at least 20 years. All improvements and structures associated with the <br /> commercial/industrial operation (gravel production) have been assessed to parcel "074". This <br /> appears to be an error and was brought to our attention recently by the owner. Our records were <br /> in error showing all structures on"074" when actually the repair garage, the office trailer, <br /> numerous piles of gravel products and the access road to parcel "074" are on parcel "119". The <br /> assessors records have been corrected to show commercial/industrW land and buildings on both <br /> parcels. <br /> In a conversation with Mr. Dillon on 6-30-1999, I was shown that a recent survey was <br /> completed on the properties in question. This survey shows that 13 `/z acres of land are <br /> consumed by the gravel operation. This area is roughly bordered on the south by Trimble Lane, <br /> on the west by Dalton Golf Course,and on the north and east by the Animas River. I believe the <br /> survey to be correct and the current assessment shows commerciaVindustrial land and buildings <br /> on each parcel. I have added new notes,dated 7-1-1999,to our property card, copies attached, <br /> and have attached our computer property record for these parcels with commercial/industrial <br /> portions highlighted. <br /> If you have any questions concerning these parcels please call me at 970-382-6230. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> I <br /> Peter M.
