I had an emergency
visit to the East Coast since my father was in intensive care for a heart attack and a
stroke.
I do not dispute that you could not find the records in question during your visit and I
believe you made your best effort to find them, however, I do have evidence that I did
my part in seeing that the records were present in the public file.
This evidence is listed below:
1) On October 31, I sent the DMG inspection reports, (a large group of reports) to the
Routt County Clerk. See enclosed copy of my daily log from that date.
2) On December 13, I sent updated sediment pond inspection report and NPDES DMR
form for the 3`" Quarter year 2000.
3) I have sent these files to the County Clerk for many years and there has never been
a problem in their receiving and properly placing the materials in the Sunland file.
Since I have not had this type of problem previously, I had no reason to call the Clerk
to make sure they got the tiles. When I check the files, I normally remove the
envelopes and insert the materials in their proper places in the binders.
