BARRY': Can you tell me either Mr. Fattor
or NIr. Cosgriff or Mr. Webster, what steps were taken
after senior Mr. Webster was deceased, say in late
January and September of this year, toward obtaining
a pe rnlit? Did he convey to you the need to obtain a
permit? Was anything done?
MR. CHARLES WEBSTER: Yes. I talked to
him several times and discussed with Mr. Fattor and my
attorney, Mr. Cosgriff, concerning who shall take care
of the permits. I contacted Mark on a couple different
occasions. He recommended this Greg Grondell. He come
up to Leadville. I took him to Mr. Cosgriff's office
and went over to the pits caith him and went out and
looked at them. Mr. Cosgriff asked him to submit a
price on cahat he would do on these permits and when he
turned in a price of $25,000, why we just turned our
t}iumbs down on it. There is just r.o way we could pay it.
So it was a delay there and then at this time we had
contacted Mr. Cosgriff and with Joe and we went ahead
and got our engineering firm going.
MR. FATTOR: Z think I can answer the
question.
