In the inspection report the <br />Divisions requested we file a Weed Control Plan and prepare a <br />Technical Revision to address leaving three buildings located on <br />the mine if they were to remain after mining ends. The Weed <br />Control Plan is attached for your review and the following text <br />addresses the request to leave the buildings. <br />Buildings <br />On this mine site are two pole barns and an office building <br />that will remain after mining ends. The Agriculture zone dis- <br />trict classification in Garfield County allows for leaving these <br />building. The 2 barns are out buildings and the office can be <br />converted to a living structure so they are allowed uses by right <br />on the zone district. <br />The largest of the pole barns was on the mine site prior to <br />permitting in 1981. Review of the original Affected Lands Map <br />(Exhibit C) shows the building. It has been converted into a <br />heated shop building and will have value to the ranching opera- <br />tions once reclamation is complete. <br />
