Before the Bureau of Land Management
(BLM) can authorize this activity and issue a sales contract, we must complete an environmental
assessment (EA). To complete this document, Moffat Limestone needs to contract a third party
to produce a cultural resource inventory report. Due to the site conditions and weather factors,
this report is still pending completion. Once the cultural resources have been fully evaluated and
documented and the EA completed, we anticipate authorizing this action and issuing the sales
contract.
This letter is merely to document that this office is working with Moffat Limestone to complete
the preliminazy requirements and that they have access to the site on public lands.
If you have any questions, please contact Robert Ernst at the address or by calling (970) 826-
5079.
Sin/cerel1y, rc
~~"~' ~ v
~«,.
