Page two
August 13, 1990
The proposed reshaping of Area +IF3 is illustrated on the cross section
which is included as Exhibit B. It is the intent of this change to remain
consistent with the original Board order. Any reduction of the slape's
steepness will increase its stability se indicated by the Geotechnical
Consultant, and this is the Operator's goal. The addition of topsoil t<~ the
entire slope will not significantly impact stability and will allow fora plant
growth medium to support the revegetation originally proposed.
The two attached Exhibits illustrate both the existing conditions anti the
proposed reshaping which the Operator feels can be reasonably achieved
without impacting the roadway or adjacent surrounding vegetation. If there
are any questions, please contact the Operator's Environmental Consultant,
Mr. Mark Heffner or the undersigned.
Very truly yours,
OBERING, WURTH & ASSOCIATES
Roland G.
