Gonima, Deb
From:
Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject
M-1982_015_20
OS_12_adequac
Sorenson, Allen
Friday, May 19, 2006 1:13 AM
Gonima, Deb
Mount, Carl; Humphries, Bruce
siegrist adequacy
Deb, great job on the adequacy review, and that's not a supercilious platitude, I'm really impressed. My
primary edit concerns the mysteries of the slurry wall banding. Since this pit already has exposed ground water, the 20
percent bond option provides little potential benefit. We need sufficient bond to cut off ground water that would evaporate
from the pit up-front; for siegrist at this pit, this opportunity doesn't exist.
Gonima, Deb
From: Gonima, Deb
Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2006 4:25 PM
To: 'Jodi Villa'
Subject: RE: Bayshore Permit
Jodi,
Sounds good. I'll do some research from my end on the current permit boundaries. So, if
you could send me the map you refer to below: the proposed (amended boundaries) and "new"
(or newly amended boundaries). That would certainly help me out. Sounds like we're making
progress. Hope your daughter's field day was fun.
-Deb
Deb Gonima
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Minerals and Geology
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
303-866-4176 ph.
303-832-8106 fax
-----Original Message-----
From: Jodi Villa tmailto:JVi11a~Meurer.com]
Sent: Thursday, May 18, 2006 7:52 AM
To: 'Gonima, Deb'
Cc: Fred Tafoya (E-mail)
Subject: RE: Bayshore Permit
Deb,
Okay, I'll send the notification to all of the owners listed in the
titlework today.
As far as the existing permit boundary. I really don't know what that is.
I have a copy of the DMG permit file, but I think that the map I have is old
and was amended. It is really hard to figure out from the file. I think
Carl found the same problem when we were working on this together. I
thought at the end of the inspection you said you were going to review this
and let me know what the existing permit area is. Can I send you a map
