SECTION 15060 <br />CORRUGATED POLYETHYLENE DRAINAGE PIPING <br /> <br /> <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.1 REFERENCES <br />A. The following is a list of standards which may be referenced <br />in this section and any supplemental Data Sheets: <br />1. American Association of State Highway and Transportation <br />Officials (AASHTO): Standard Specifications for Highway <br />Bridges. <br />2. American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) <br />3. ASTM D 1248, Standard Specification for Polyethylene <br />Plastics Molding and Extrusion Materials <br />4. ASTM D 3350, Standard Specification for Polyethylene <br />Plastics Pipe and Fittings Materials. <br />5. ASTM F 714, Standard Specification for Polyethylene (PE) <br />Plastic Pipe (SDR-PR) Based On Outside Diameter. <br />1.2 DEFINITIONS <br />A. Buried Piping: Piping installed underground embedded in pipe <br />zone or backfill material. <br /> <br />Y <br />B. Pipe Zone: That area of sand and gravel filter around the pipe <br />as shown on the drawings which extends 1 foot below the invert <br />of the pipe to one foot above the top of the pipe and to 1 <br />foot either side of the pipe springline. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Shop Drawings Submittals: <br />Manufacturer's data on materials, construction and installation <br />recommendations, ratings, overall length, (as applicable). <br />B. Quality Control Submittals: <br />0 <br />Manufacturer's Certification of Compliance with materials <br />specials specified. <br />1.4 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver, store and handle per the manufacturers <br />recommendations. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />2.1 PIPING <br />A. As specified on Piping Data Sheet(s) and Piping Schedule <br />located at the end of this section as Supplements. <br />B.
