DMG has informed me that subsidence monitoring requirements were dropped in 1988. DMG will require the mine plan be revised to reflect the status of the current subsidence monitoring. Pond Inspections: The last quarterly pond inspection for ponds T-1, T-2 and Long was conducted on 06/15/94. The last quarterly inspection for ponds P-3, P-5 and P-9 was conducted on 06/21/94. ' Certifications: Impoundments--The certifications of of the mine impoundments was done on dates: Long Pond 07/14/93 P-9 Pond 11/25/91 . P-5 Pond 02/06/84 P-3 Pond 02/06/84 P-2 Pond 02/06/84 P-1 Pond 02/06/84 Truck Dump Pond 02/06/84 Treatment Pond 1 02/23/89 Treatment Pond 2 02/23/89 the construction the following Roads--Haul road construction was certified on 08/01/84. Coal Mine Waste--The reclamation of the refuse pile was certified on 10/16/86. Public Records: The location for the mine plan and other documents for this site are kept at the Garfield County Courthouse. Although most of the information pertaining to the mike is stored there, a complete record was not available. All public documents relating to the mine site must be made available and are required to be kept with the mine plan. DMG should review the file and insure that the company place all required document at the courthouse. FIELD REVIEW Signs and Markers: The mine identifications signs were posted at the entrance to the mine and the haul road to the truck dump.. 5
