Also, post-mine land use azeas aze shown. It is too
premature to show any more detail than that shown for the post-mining use on the permit area,
however, azeas designated for each of the post-mining land uses, commercial, open
space/wildlife habitat and residential aze shown. The cross-section lines A and B aze used to
show the original, mining and final topography on Map C-3. Note that the original topography
is estimated.
Revegetation details aze given at the end of this Exhibit.
3. Gravel Pit Reclamation
When gravel mining moves from the old 110 azea to the azea north of the gold plant, the old 110
area will be reclaimed. This will be done with dozers grading the surface to slopes no steeper
than 3H:1 V, as shown on Map F. This will be done within 2 years of the approval of the 2003
amendment, since the bulk of the gravel mine reserves exist north of the gold plant area. Once
the 110 azea is graded, it will be covered with fines from the operation and/or Stockpiles #1 or
#4. Since the 110 azea is approximately 11.8 acres, the amount of fines needed to cover the area
with 3 inches thickness is 4759 cy. The topsoil will be spread and graded with a small dozer (DS
size) to ensure that no equipment compaction occurs.
Although a lazge portion of the post-mine site will be used for residential use, all azeas (other
than roads or ponds) will be covered with substitute fines or topsoil to a depth of 2.5"-3" after
final grading.
Alma Placer 7/03 41
